Sarah Sanders hides from press even after Trump is accused of a felony

By Oliver Willis - December 11, 2018

The White House has not held a press briefing in two weeks, avoiding accountability on a host of scandals.

Press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders and the White House press operation have not held a briefing with reporters for two weeks, even as new information emerges showing Trump in the center of crimes.

The last briefing given at the White House was on November 27. Since the G-20 meeting that ended on December 1, Trump has not made any foreign trips or otherwise been involved in events that would precipitate cancelling a briefing.

Usually the White House doesn’t hold briefings on days when Trump will be appearing publicly for a speech, rally, or signing ceremony. But on December 3, the schedule said Trump had his intelligence briefing and had a meeting with the HUD Secretary — but there was no press briefing. On December 10, when the only scheduled event was a Trump lunch with Mike Pence, there was no press briefing.

The White House has stayed away from cameras and questions from reporters that might require substantive or even honest answers.

In the meantime, more and more information has emerged about Trump and the likelihood that he broke the law.

By not holding a press briefing, the White House has avoided being held accountable as multiple stories and developments have emerged:

I find those press briefings useless anyway, 90% of the time she is lying and trying hard to defend the indefensible. IMHO, its OK if she doesn't appear again until the man-child gets indicted.

Could be that she has had an enlightenment that it is a sin to bear false witness. If so then she was due for a major soul cleaning. Could it be that has been delivered from the grasp of Satan and has stopped speaking with a forked tongue. A major testimony of "I have been healed? Probably not. Nah, she is just laying low like gangsters when the heat is on.

All she does is lie and look irritated. Defending the indefensible. Maybe she FINALLY ran out of lies?

They are a matched pair.

For several reasons, trump will not resign even tho' it would be better for the country.

He's doing such a great job.(:sarcasm

For one, if he does resign the Southern District of New York will immediately indict him and he knows it.
For another, his overblown ego will not let him. After all, he's perfect......just ask him. Again (:sarcasm .

175k per year for doing nothing!

I'm sure that's what Jesus would have wanted. Rich person getting richer for doing nothing. Cool!

Press wins, Trump propaganda minister loses.

There's a reason they say "the pen is mightier than the sword" and why the 1st Amendment protects the press.

I mean, in her position, I would have to start to wonder, "If I lie about this whole business, can I get indicted for aiding and abetting? Or for some other associated crime?"
