TrumPutin couldn't get it all in his head, but he tried repuking what the Rude Ghoul told him was a good excuse.

Too bad all those lawyers, the judge, FBI agents and Cohen disagree with Dumb Donald's characterization of the plea, guilt, and law.

That's the kind of language he probably used. That said, notable in it's absence would be the word "legal" before the word "way".

Poor baby is finding his deniability gambit is on thin ice.

Ignorantia juris non excusat[1] or ignorantia legis neminem excusat[2] (Latin for "ignorance of the law excuses not"[1] and "ignorance of law excuses no one"[2] respectively) is a legal principle holding that a person who is unaware of a law may not escape liability for violating that law merely because one was unaware of its content.

(I should've read the whole thread before speculating about this above).

This looks to me like he was tweeting what somebody tried to tell him is his 'out'. Whether they believed it or not is another question. They may have been trying to stop a tantrum and this was the best they could come up with.

Trump has often referred to himself in the third person. For example, in the confession interview with Lester Holt, he said, (paraphrasing), "This Russia thing with Trump and Russia is a made-up story."

There are many more examples and I've always thought it was odd.

If your accountant cheats on your taxes, you are still guilty.

If you didn't know shooting a man in the face on 5th Avenue was a crime, you would still be charged.
