He knew enough about them to form a phony shell corp, then make Cohen feed the shell corp with his own money, then reimburse Cohen through phony 'legal fees'.

This was just weeks before the election ... if he legit STILL had nobody around him at that point ... that could properly inform him of what was legal and not legal to do in the way of his campaign ... THAT'S ON HIM.

He's a celebrity who can't be bothered to know the laws around running for the position of chief law enforcement officer of the country.
