Former Fed Prosecutor Mariotti: Butina's boyfriend Erickson committed "outright treason" by helping

her draft the proposal that allowed her to infiltrate US organizations, like the NRA.

What shocks me most is that Erickson helped write this proposal! His behavior amounts to what most Americans would regard as outright treason. (As I discussed on my latest #OnTopic podcast with @Mimirocah1, our Constitution defines "treason" narrowly.) What was he thinking?

The last two or three weeks have been a blizzard of bad news for the Blobfather, Don Trumpalooney.

And it looks like that isn’t going to stop any time soon.

He said americans would regard it as outright treason. He went on to say that the Constitution defines treason narrowly. The boyfriend did not commit treason; subversion and espionage, yes. Generally the courts deifne even narrower. Courts usually define "enemy" as a country or organization that the US is at war with or have major military operations against. Sorry, Russia may be an adversary but they are not an "enemy."

We were not "at war" with the Soviet Union either. But he aided Russia in an act to subvert the government, which in my mind is an "act of war".
