It filled my heart with joy when we had a national leader that the leaders of other nations admired, respected, and liked.

They liked President Obama; they enjoyed his company.

We were a better nation then. Taking pride in his excellence was rewarding.

I knew it would be, but reality is harsh. Perhaps, even harsher than I'd anticipated? And, I thought I was a pessimist out of the box on this one, but it appears I was somewhat optimistic vs. reality.

I deeply miss sanity, complete sentences and the general sense of security in the many facetets I used to enjoy. I miss logic and linear thinking the most I suspect. For me, those are my security blanket.

I miss the complete sentences, the humor, the real love of country, the beautiful family, all of it.
