Comey's outrage today was way cool, sure...but maybe if he hadn't sent that letter, he'd be happier.

I know I would.

Everything he said today made perfect sense. Hearing it from a guy who cried wolf a week before the election didn't settle that well with me.

A poster in another thread seemed to wonder aloud that he is presidential. Uh, no. He’s not.

People are not good OR evil they are a mixture of things. No one action in a persons lifetime makes everything they do from there on out out evil, corrupt, or good.

He shit the bed in 2016. He choked. He blew it. We now have Red Don in part because of his actions. So yeah that’s a one strike thing in my book. You want to forgive and forget that’s your call. In my book it’s fuck James Comey till he croaks. There is no room for nuance in this particular situation. Also, Trump and Putin are pretty fucking evil. Save the “everyone has some good in them” pablum for someone else. It’s nonsense.

I find when you exclude others, even those who have disagreed with you in the past or present, you end up shooting yourself in the foot.

I will continue to stick to Obama's pragmatism when it comes to dealing with those I disagree with.

Of course, he doesn't read the replies. God forbid that boyscout Comey* might have to look at his misdeeds through the eyes of others.
