White House signals it will back down on President Trump’s demand for border wall funding and avert a partial government shutdown

The Trump administration wants to avoid a partial government shutdown and has found other ways to get the border wall money it wants, spokeswoman Sarah Sanders said Tuesday.

Sanders’s comments come four days before large portions of the federal government will begin shutting down unless Congress and Trump reach a budget deal. The two sides had been deadlocked over Trump’s demand for $5 billion to build a wall along the U.S.-Mexico border.

Knowing Dumpie, he'll have some lackey lawyer go down to the international exchange window with $5B in rubles, have it converted to Pesos, and then declare to the world that he got it all from Mexico.

and force Congress to block it. It's just more stupidity from the Trumps.

but this signals there won't be any gaint, block wall. Just as, btw, Nancy Pelosi told trump to his face.

The repugs have to understand, they no longer have control of all the branches of government so the threat of a shutdown doesn't work.
