White House: Flynn Was 'Certainly Ambushed' By Politically Biased FBI

White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders underscored the defense that conservatives and Trump allies have embraced in recent days about former National Security Adviser Michael Flynn: that he was “ambushed” by the FBI when they questioned him about his contacts with Russians after the election.

“We’re arguing that he was certainly ambushed and the FBI, that we know had clear political bias, we’ve seen that time and time again,” she told Fox News Tuesday. “One thing we’re 100 percent sure on is that the President made the right decision in firing James Comey.”

While Flynn has pleaded guilty to lying to the FBI, and is set to be sentenced for those crimes on Tuesday, his lawyers have maintained in recent days that Flynn only lied to the FBI because he was caught off-guard by their questioning.

Nobody wants some bogus appeal about "I didn't know my rights, I didn't have a chance to talk to my attorney, I didn't know what pleading guilty meant, I was just a poor babe in the woods." Judges, particularly federal judges, nail down every last loose board in building that (legal, not actual) scaffold. Sanders' talking points are already past their pull date.

Does nothing but show how much contempt they have for law and order , and the rule of law siding with the criminals over and over again because it may expose them badly. trump uses his office as a weapon, and against others so this isn't a surprise he's doing this . Guilty criminals act out like this when they close in on them, and they have no where else to go when cornered.
