(56,828 posts)I'm guessing that because his crimes are so big, he gave Team Mueller a LOT of great information that incriminates those that are higher up than him - Trump, Don Jr, Jared, Pence, Sessions.

(4,787 posts)at Flynn's request. According to Courthouse News' onsite reporter Tim Ryan, "Sullivan offered the recess to Flynn while he was going over the seriousness of the offense and shortly after saying he could not promise he would not sentence Flynn to jail time."

(3,784 posts)The Judge has basically just said that he thinks Flynn committed treason. Flynn was Trump's National Security Adviser and reported DIRECTLY to Pence on the transition team. There's NO WAY they didn't know what he was doing. This sentencing hearing is simultaneously blowing up all the Branch Donaldians' talking points. That whole, "there's no evidence," "he did nothing wrong," "no crime was committed," all those talking points are GONE now. And anyone with a lick of common sense (which I guess doesn't include Trump supporters, so I think I just answered my own question) can see that the, "if there was any criminal activity, Trump didn't know about it," talking point is about to fall as well.
Better start searching hard for some more 30-year-old dirt on the Clintons, Faux News.
