Conservatives do 1 thing very well, and thats take something from the left, no matter how many people actually support or think it, and make it to be "liberals". Right now the thing I have noticed from many people on the right is that they are saying "liberals just have to ruin everything" and then posting links to a push from some who want Santa to be gender neutral. My question is, how many people actually feel this way? Cause I know no one thats concerned about this, but in Trump land this is gaining traction. I will say this is a tactic we on the left need to adapt. Find some lunatic fringe RW person and paint the entire GOP and right as being just as crazy.

(3,334 posts)Talking about changing Santa's gender while neglecting the fact that he has a wife who is fully capable of sharing his duties just seems asinine to me.

(4,661 posts)leaving Santa home by the fire sipping his Christmas rum. Then she read Huckleberry Finn, with the fence-painting and all, and convinced Santa that delivering toys was the most fun, most important activity EVER!
Now she's home sitting by the fire enjoying her quiet time while he's braving the elements and eating soggy cookies.
By the way, her given name is Nancy, and we know Nancys are smart.

(994 posts)I would assume Santa Claus is male. Plus if I were female and had that beard, I would be really upset and heading for the nearest hair removal center.😄
Such a silly thing to argue about. Just feeds the RWNJ
