War is hard. Put one foot in front of the next and keep going

The Republican Party has declared war on democracy.

A federal judge in Texas has said that Obamacare is bullshit and that it cannot exist.

The state of Georgia Republicans have said "fuck you" to elections in which all votes count.

Wisconsin Republicans have changed the "rules" and said "fuck you" to voters who voted them out of power.

The entire Republican Party is making believe that the guy in the White House is not a criminal.

At this moment, America is in deep shit. The Republican propaganda machine, Fox "news," hate radio, wingnut online insanity sites, are poisoning the minds of countless people who don't understand how badly they're getting fucked. These people just can't grasp the fact that the Republican Party is keeping them in poverty/ignorance/misery by lying to them, and playing to the biases/hatreds/lies they've been taught since childhood.

Basically, the Republican Party has given up on trying to "win" and is, instead, doing whatever they want to do with the power they have left.

This ain't a shooting war. Yet. It's a political war. Most Democrats don't know it and most Republicans are doing everything possible to destroy the rules of a civilized democracy.

Time for us Dems to realize that we are at "war" with the entire Republican Party. It's going to get uglier and they aren't about to give up power. So how do we fight them?

We fight them one fight at a time. One battle at a time. War is hard an dispiriting. So here's what we do. Take on every single fight they chose to attack us with. It's sometimes difficult to hold onto hope. But you just put one foot in front of the next and keep going.
