Democrats need to start playing the video of Donald Trump saying he was going to take credit/blame for the shutdown. Every time he tweets, or comments that the shutdown is the fault of the Democrats, every Democrat in Congress should tweet out the video of Trump saying to Chuck Schumer and Nancy Pelosi that he would take the credit/blame for the shutdown.

Whether he likes it or not Trump took ownership of this shutdown when he made his comments to Chuck Schumer and Nancy Pelosi. I think that is why many Republican have been willing to compromise with the Democrats. Republican likely think, with video out there of Donald Trump taking ownership of this shutdown, it might be hard for them to pull out a win from this shutdown. Maybe Trump and the Republicans can get a win out of this, but it seems like a hard task when your leader is on the record taking ownership of a shutdown.
