John Schindler tweet last night on Mattis resignation:

Make no mistake what happened today. The US military's finest general of his generation, whom historians will compare to Grant, Marshall, & Ike, threw in the towel over Trump's basic lack of patriotism & decency. You will tell your grandkids about this day, my fellow Americans.

At least that's how I feel pretty much all the time. It's like trying to drink from a fire hose.

Mattis resigned because Trump is taking orders from Vladimir Putin and he is not going to be part of it.

We are near the end; its just that "how" this is going to end that is anybody's guess.

Thy never thought they would succeed in getting Trump in. And if they did, they never thought the GOP would allow him to destroy U.S. leadership of the Western World.

They cannot believe how easy all this is.

and Republicans made a pact to vote no to everything president Obama proposed. I thought to myself that this strategy won't work, making everything political, the American people will see through it. I was wrong, it worked, and the reason it worked is because Republicans have an ace up their sleeve, the corporate controlled right wing M$M. The GOP was backed by the M$M, if it wasn't it would have been harder for Trump to get into power and remain in power.

The M$M right now should be pushing for impeachment.

With Wall Street tanking like it is, things will get ugly real quick. Let's just hope this doesn't turn into a military coup, which would take care of the immediate problem, but it would also become its own nightmare.

for “retiring”, but we all know that Trump will find the worst possible person to replace him. I don’t see anything heroic in his actions.

The true unsung heroes are the ones who refused to accept positions in Trump’s administration. Not the ones who decide to jump ship when they’re about to drown.

We can only hope that he doesn't put Bolin in Mattis's place.....

Seemingly to distract the rest of us from the catastrophe that is Trump. Rather strange.
