Stephen King: "Trump increasingly reminds me of Anthony Freemont-Monster child in Twilight Zone"

Stephen King:

Trump increasingly reminds me of Anthony Freemont, the monster child in a Twilight Zone episode called "It's a Good Life." Republicans kowtow to him, because he might throw a tantrum and send them away into the cornfield if they don't.

They have the same level of emotional maturity. And Joffrey likes to remind everyone that he’s king. And he thinks that gives him the ability to do anything. And we’re not an absolute monarchy, like Westeros is. We’re a constitutional republic. And yet, Trump doesn’t seem to know what that means. He thinks the presidency gives him the power to do anything. And so, yeah, Joffrey is Trump.

The only difference is that Joffrey was 13/14/15 in the books and had Tywin Lannister to reign him in.

They, and other right-wing media powerhouses, set Trump and Repubs in congress to shivering in fear.

Republicans in congress had already made a deal with Democrats and planned to recess on the 13th. Then the evil ones threatened to point at them and set them on fire if they didn't do as they wished.

Expect lots of rictus smiling at right wing media after this display of power.

Also Billy Mumy. A kid who likes to play cowboy finds a real, loaded gun and walks around playing with it.
