As long as the Senate doesn't approve it before then and Trump then doesn't sign it into law.

I’m pretty sure the last vote was on a motion to proceed which passed with pence casting the te breaking vote.

The bill is alive until the senate kills it or the senate adjourns “sine die” — neither of those things has happened as far as I know.

No chance the New Democratic congress would pass it.

wiped away, evaporated, tossed aside, etc. Kaput.

Both the Senate and House start on Jan 3rd with a clean slate, no previously passed bills hanging out there.

So it was dead BEFORE now. Just a way for some House members to save face.

the senate passes and the president signs into law. why NO democratic bill passed in the house will ever become law unless Senate republicans agree and pass and the president signs

so 100% NO for this law and probably everything else the next 2 years

'cause he's talking about a compromise instead of the $5 billion...

All the Democrats need to do is wait until January 3rd.

If the Republicans can't pass it on their own, it is dead.

I learned something today by asking the question. That all bills that have not been enacted into law (passed by both houses and signed by the President) by the time the new Congress starts die.
