Union freight

Just found out management out of our barn gave freight to a outside carrier that is non union. Now we have men that are on lay-off grievance time someone is gonna get paid for this plus unemployment.

Got a call from yard jockey three loads went out last night on non union trailers so at least three men will get paid for trip to and from that are laid off i am one of the top three on lay off . Grievances already filled out by a union steward asshole management playing games.

and hope that those laid off will get their pay quickly. Sounds like someone was trying to be just a bit too slick for themselves.

almost pay for my dues. I've been retired for 17 years and am glad to pay my dues now, even though it's not required.
