In 2008, Republican voters were pissed Bush stopped a Great Depression.

They did not want Bush to bail out the banks. They wanted Bush to let all the big banks to fail, which of course would have caused a world wide great depression.

In 2016 the Republican voters decided to try again. Put in place trickle down once again and if things go bad this time our cult leader would never bail out the banks. They would celebrate the big banks going down as they lost everything.

Republican voters don't understand if the banks fail the ATM machines stop working. Businesses cannot get loans, cannot make payroll and have to shut down.
