on the facts. The shutdown will not prevent congress from starting its new session.

There is only a (partial) shutdown of the federal bureaucracy. That's what is under the control of the executive branch, not the entire government.

It doesn't work that way. The new congress will be installed shortly.

Orange Puff doesn’t run the House and the House doesn’t work for him.

Pelosi will open January 3, 2019.

First order of business should be passing the CR that doesn’t include funding for that Stupid Wall.

to show that the GOP/Trump party is keeping the government shut down.

The narrative, The narrative, the narrative, The narrative. I get sick and tired trying to convince people how important the narrative is. The corporate controlled right wing M$M controls the narrative. I am sick and tired of the bullshit both sides are keeping the government shut down. All questions need to be directed at Congressional Republicans and Trump about why they are shutting down the government.

Eventually the Senate will pass a House sponsored Bill and then we shall see if Trump vetoes it. If he listens to Rush, Coulter, and the Freedumb caucus the shutdown will be on him, the pressure will be on the Republican Senators who vote no.

doesn't really touch the legislative branch. Indeed, Senators and Representatives still get paid. Not so sure about their staff, but I'd be willing to guess they still get paid also.

Of course, the facts have never stood in the way of Trump's delusional thinking.
