most trump supporters get their info from talk radio and or fox or from those who do. if you want to hear ugly turn on some of that 20-1 monopoly - any of those 1500 stations will give you trump ugly most of the day.

at $1000/hr x 15 hrs x 1200 stations it's worth nearly $5BIL/day of ugly, and excuses for it.

The ugliness displayed by Trump supporters is something they've always had the capacity for, but those smoldering fires within them have been fanned to a roaring flame by thirty years of hate radio.

There's an example in my family. My cousin. A retired policeman. Coast Guard service stationed in Hawaii, then Honolulu PD. Married a native Hawaiian woman. Three children, now with their own children. He's a great guy; the most steady loving father and husband. Generous, kind, very comfortable financially because of hard work and good money management; owns a beachfront second home and investment property.

He's also the product of AM radio and FOX. A Trumper. His attachment came about because of disgust for regulatory issues, and the idea that liberals/intellectuals look down on the everyday working person. He didn't go to college and has no reference point for literature, philosophy, the great ideas. I have seen him shake his head in disgust many times and mock "soft" liberalism.

A couple of years ago I had the opportunity to ride home from the beach house with him. Hate radio was on. OMG. OMG.

If you have not listened to AM radio, do for a couple of hours. It's stunning. Worse than FOX.
