The Dems take over on Thursday and have bills ready to pass and send to the Senate. Counter offers now would be pointless IMO.

The House is going to pass a continuing resolution on Thursday. That's already been said by Nancy Pelosi. It won't have any funds in it for the wall or anything else connected with it. It will just get the government funded. That will go to the Senate. If they pass it, it will go to Trump. Both Trump and the Senate are Republican, so if they don't re-fund the government, that will be on them.
