I'm requesting people use more descriptive titles for the threads they start

It's annoying to me when I can't have any idea what the content of a thread is about from the thread title. Many people for reasons known only to themselves like to leave their thread with vague and mysterious thread titles that unkindly forces a reader to have to guess at the subject and content inside the thread.

Please please ... give your threads a title that gives a reader some inkling at what the content of the thread is about.

FTS might be the title of a thread, but what it's really describing is what I feel when once again I am left with no idea what the subject of the thread is about

I hate clickbait -- and it's especially annoying when I'm on a small device rather than a real computer.

I would love to have the admins add a script to add the words "From Twitter" whenever anyone posts tweets. If I wanted to read Twitter stuff, I would get an account over there.

100%. This has irked me for a long, long time.

Sone of these op's are real energy sinks, particularly the ones that masquerade as legit news only to end up with some meme or one liner.

Other people may need such things, I definitely do not.

Dialog aimed at Trump or [insert Republican dick head of choice here] are awkward and kind of embarrassing, I mean, neither Trump or any Republican adversaries are going to read it, so who's that stuff really for, the rest of us?

Hint: we all know how each other feels, it's not necessary to smash that to atoms and back.

(Humor), or (opinion) in the subject line would be considerate. Not contributing to other members' junk data overload should hopefully take priority over click bait style titles that boost thread views.

I'd think most DUers are no longer in Jr. HS.

And while I'm here, please also:
1) trim off the query string "?s=21" on tweet links
2) use "its" for the possessive case
3) provide some text as to what a video has and its length

Gesh, this was really cathartic lmao
