Pence would have to go down simultaneously to put Pelosi in as POTUS and I just don't see that happening. More likely, Trump goes down and Pence is installed as POTUS and chooses a new VP, like Nixon chose Gerald Ford after Agnew's resignation. Pence will choose someone squeeky clean, so that if Pence goes down, Mr Squeeky clean will run in 2020.
