Trapping Mitch McConnell

Mitch says he won't bring up a bill the president says he won't sign.
Reporters need to ask him some direct questions:

You brought up a bill the president said he would sign that passed unanimously, then he changed his mind and said he wouldn't sign.
he's done this before over the DACA compromise.
How do you know when the president is telling you the truth?

Why does the Republican President lie to other Republicans?

Why does the president lie to you so much?

Why should the president lies prevent you from doing your Constitutional duty?

If there are enough votes to override a veto why wouldn't you do that to open the government and have Republicans appear responsible in this situation?

How do you know he won't change his mind and sign something you pass anyway since he changes his mind the other way too?

What are some more direct questions that can trap the turtle?
Let's help some journalists here...

Yet on who might run against McConnell in 2020. Some speculating on Andy Beshear, but we really need him to run for governor here.

Whoever it is, I'll definitely be working for them.

It seems to me that McConnell mostly enjoys throwing his weight around, proving he can block things and cause as much damage as he chooses. He is hateful and divisive. I assume Putin loves him.

He won't be held down to answer any question he doesn't want to.

He won't answer a series of pointed questions he doesn't want to.

He is staking out a position that is essentially meaningless - of course he won't vote on a bill that won't pass. He excels at this.

Your best question, and one I think he would respond to, is "How do you know when the president is telling you the truth?"

Yes, reporters should be asking Mitch and GOP/Trump Senators why they now oppose a bill they recently passed.
That should be the narrative.

Sadly our right wing corporate controlled M$M's narrative is, Democrats are passing a bill in the House that is dead on arrival at the Senate. That narrative makes Democrats look bad instead of Republicans.

All we can do is keep putting the pressure on Mitch and GOP/Trump Senators, especially those up for reelection, because the M$M isn't on our side.

Let him be seen to duck the questions.

Trump has reneged many times; that makes Mitch's position untenable.

Why wouldn't he bring a bill that originally came from the GOPer Senate to a vote in the GOPer Senate?

Why would he hold the Senate, House, all of the Federal government and the nation hostage to a man who constantly flip-flops on deals?

Why would he want to change the trumpshutdown to the mcconnellshutdown or Republicanshutdown?

so acting, or not acting, based on him saying "yes i will sign" or "no i won't sign" is a f--king stupid thing to do.

Just vote on the bill YOU want and see if he signs it or not -- because he will change his mind 3 or 4 times between when he first hears about it and when he sits down to put pen to paper, based on the most recent person he talked to and what was just on cable news.
