That's the side we never see.
The U.S. landed on the side of the moon we can see. And we planted an American flag there.
Did China plant a flag on the dark side? Does that mean we own one side and they own the other?
I wish we hadn't planted an American flag on this side of the moon. Nationalism is, to me, a sickness that will someday soon go away. If any flag at all was planted when we made it to the moon, it should have been one that represented the entire human species.

(1,154 posts)I would love to know what they are up to. I strongly suspect that there is a lot on the moon they don't want us peasants to know about.

Decades of exposure to the lunar sun will have bleached the former red-white-and blue banners to just white.

(1,480 posts)Been investigating since reading Project Blue Book at age 12. I have seen UFOs. I dream about UFOs.
I'm aware of the anomalies that were found on the moon during the Apollo missions--and which were hidden by NASA. I know about the paintings done by Eugene Cernan. I know there is more to the moon missions than NASA wants us to know. (Along with the encounters of astronauts in Earth orbit.)
But there are no alien bases on the far side of the moon.
Unfortunately.
But maybe the moon itself is a base. [link:https://www.ancient-code.com/the-moon-an-artificial-base-who-put-the-moon-in-a-perfect-orbit-around-earth]
