He didn't distinguish himself as separate from Trumpy. He was a toady. He did not dignify himself for any potential base of supporters. If he runs, he'll drop out for lack of support, lack of funds. It's fitting. He was a real waste of time and resources, a real loser as Speaker. He had no initiatives worth a dime. He had no distinguishing achievements. Nada. Let him run.

"he'll drop out for lack of support, lack of funds"

I'm not saying its a bright idea, but I think he has the right mixture of brains to hubris to be a Republican candidate.

Especially after Mueller drops. He's complicit in everything. I think they're all going to be generationally radioactive soon. The new Third Rail.

He claims it's a joke, but this and his outgoing 12% popularity rating plus his channeling of Russian money to selected representatives from the Manafort/Sater SuperPac the FBI seized early on should destroy him.

They'll go for Jeb! or Romney or Flake, but Ryan is toast, I think.

He is widely recognized as a small defeated weasel of a man who is widely unpopular. He is flush with dirty money but it's unlikely he will be taken seriously in the long run. If he's lucky in twenty years he will be running a car dealership in Janesville.

When I get depressed, I rewatch his VP debate with Joe Biden. It's one of the most satisfying beatdowns of a moron ever televised.
