He is insane.

He should be in a padded cell.

All those standing behind him should be in a padded cell.

He pulls numbers out of his ass.

He needs to be disgraced on live TV.

He should be called a liar to his face on live TV.

The republicans that support him are the greatest threat this country has ever faced.

They are disgusting people with no redeeming qualities !!!!

They hate this country and the majority of people in it.

And that's irrelevant?

The whole idea of polling is to get statistics from a representative sample -- you don't ask EVERYONE.

So 1 in 3 is 100,000,000 or more.

Can you give any reason to believe that the non-voting public is NOT also represented by this sample?

...first off, I love this country. that's why I hate Trump so much. Secondly, the majority of this country believes just like you and me. The problem is, everyone needs to vote and we have to fix some of the broken parts.

This country has been through worse times and has done worse things. The near genocide of the native Americans, slavery, jim Crow, the assault on unions, and much more. "The arc of the moral universe is long, but always bends toward justce".

I am part of the majority of this country. I think like you. I certainly don't think you hate me.

when I was trying to figure out what was what and who was who in the political world I used to dabble in Rimbaugh and Hanutty listening/watching. They were most certainly PROJECTING even back then...

A large number of people in this country have been made to believe Democrats are evil through and through. These people cannot bring themselves to vote for a Democrat, no matter what. That's a large part of what got this monstrosity "elected." It's why in certain parts of the country, it's impossible or near impossible to get a Democrat elected. We start out every election with a large minority of the population lost to any kind of possibility of getting their votes.

I'd be willing to bet that everyone here would be willing to vote for Dwight Eisenhower if he seemed better than the Dem candidate. Our minds aren't closed. Theirs are.

...they can make me want to change it. I was in the streets in the late 60's and early 70's fighting an unjust war being fought in our name. the majority of the country voted for it. That didn't mean I couldn't try to change their minds.

In the end, I, and many people like me, did.

I think we (at DU only?) fixate to the pResident/executive branch and the senate/house. We worry about federally-appointed judges.

But a ton of rot is happening throughout the states and localities.

They all need to get disinfected. I have some decent people in my towns/counties/state gov't that identify as (R). But they chose that (R) for a reason and they would all love to be involved in the federal destruction.

Section 4 of the 25th Amendment requires action by the VP and a majprity pf the cabinet. Then it takes a two-thirds vote of both chambers of Congress to remove him.

Impeachment procedures, however remote the chance, are much likelier than Pence lifting a finger.
