(3,344 posts)I looked at the Wiki for the 1976 National Emergencies Act. It looks like the Congress could pass a joint resolution ending the emergency. But it would need to be signed by the president. So it would take a 2/3rds vote to override a veto.

It has been 2 months since the midterms and I couldn't figure out what the ad was at first and only paid attention to see who sponsored it.
