Call McConnell's office(s) --Washington DC: (202) 224-2541

Tell him to

resolve the stalemate that has left 800,000 federal workers either furloughed or working without pay.
By absenting himself, Mr. McConnell had hoped to push the blame for a prolonged shutdown onto Democrats while protecting Republicans running for re-election in 2020

1. I considered calling or emailing him, but doubted a non-Kentuckian would be counted.

What do you think??? My own Repub. Senators don't pay any attention to opinions - always send a form letter that doesn't even reflect the subject upon which they were addressed.

2. Call/email regardless of where you're from. The shutdown affects the nation (and the world), not

I told the nice receptionist, who didn't even ask where I was calling from, that I want McConnell to do his job and let the House bills have a vote. She said she would pass that on.

Everyone should call!

about him, and how they said he is afraid of a challenger in his 2020 election, but called BS on that, he is one of many who took Russian blood money.

McConnell hates the Constitution and Democracy, if he had the best interests in our country he would of put a stop to the traitor squatting in the WH.

In fact I predict he'll decide to retire if it starts to look much worse for him. The only reason he's still in is because he's choked off any Republican hopefuls of winning a primary against him. And Kentucky will go with whoever the R's put up. He gets booed pretty much everywhere in the state. If he gets much more mud on him from Trump he's a goner.

My personal opinion.

why do we need him there anyhow if he is not going to do a DAMN THING. Oh he got burned by the orange tyrant...well boo hoo, like you don't know who he is. I finished with ...it's time to work with the Democrats to go around this orange blockade...it won't kill you to do what is right this one time.

I know what he does -- suck down money and pull every dirty trick he can think of to advance his personal gain and his party's power. But I can't explain why he's there. Never met a Kentuckian yet who had good things to say about McConnell, and I'm in an area almost 80% red.
