every Dem that appears on any news show should repeat this same message. The cable news shows should emphasize this fact as well. That the only reason we're in shutdown is because the Repug Senate and Mitch McConnell chooses not to do their job.

The Dems need to keep the pressure on Mitch McConnell. The ball is in his court and every day that he refuses to bring these bills in front of the Senate is another day to blame the Repugs and Mitch McConnell for the Trump Shutdown.

He's happy to let them wound each other and he stands to the side, hunkered tightly in his shell, unscathed.

Aside from the fact that he's President. When Mitch and the GOP Senate decides they've had enough, they can end it- by force if necessary (i.e. veto override). I'm not sure what the GOP Senate's pain threshold is yet, though.

If not Speaker Pelosi, then Senator Kamala Harris or Adam Schiff--both are equally competent
and legal experts; experienced policy makers as is Pelosi. They along with Pelosi have that sophisticated intelligence, statesman or statesperson like poise that Obama and H.Clinton had. Obama and H. Clinto were the best of us...as are Pelosi, Harris and Schiff.

Of course there are many others whom have those same qualities... Lewis, Waters, Holland, Cummings, Warren, Kennedy etc.. We are fortunate that we have a stellar group of remarkable democratic leaders ...so anyone chosen to rebutt his [el gallo (the cocky jerk) in WH] lies will do fine while focusing on policy issues -- and and mind you there will be an onslaught of lies. It' s sad really that they [repubs] only have --el mal [bad, evil ] hombre that reflects the true essence of their party. [ Note: I refuse to watch or listen to this hate monger and propagandist because he is one toxic mf! ]
