If Trump says something kind, respectful and postive for everyone it would be great.

Reassuring and a helpful speech. The kind we would like...but...it will not be that kind of speech.

It will be full of threats and fear. I wish it were not, but that is what I think it will be. And some ugliness about those who want to enter the U.S. illegally. Yes, he will get all the ugly talking points in his 8 minute speech. It doesn't take much to make a mean and ugly speech.

Lincoln's Gettysburg Address lasted 3 minutes. So short speeches can be outstanding. But Trump will go on too long, even for 8 minutes. Much too long for Mr. Trump.

I don't think Trump has ever in his whole life done or said anything kind, respectful and positive.

He can describe buildings and objects as beautiful, and Ivanka too, but the rest of humanity exists to do his bidding, at least in his dust particle of a mind.

would certainly have a word or two about Mr. Trump. And I am sure that those few words would not be ...kind..

Just last night, my wife and I were lamenting Carlin’s absence. He would go after Trump with a vengeance.

I can’t think of anyone currently in the social-comment/thinking-person’s area of comedy that has the gravitas Carlin did.

And I will NOT watch one second of tomorrow’s broadcast, because 1) he’s out of his fucking mind, and the less I see him, the better I feel; and 2) I already know what he’s going to say. In fact, any one of us could stand up and “do” 8 minutes of Trump— he’s that predictable.

He will continue dividing this country using propaganda and fear mongering to shore up his base of delusional supporters .

10. Yes, I agree it will be lies and attacks. But maybe, just maybe, it might be something different.

I know it is asking a whole lot out of this idiot, but maybe, just maybe, Trump will take a shot at saying something positive and respectful. But I won't count on that, and sadly, I won't expect that either.

my mind about him. I've already canceled all my scheduled DVR recordings and will not support any networks that air the propaganda/speech.
