DHS now saying # of terror watchlist people at border "extremely sensitive" - even one is "too many"

Kirstjen Nielsen tweeted out a link to this laughable "MYTH/FACT" release from DHS tonight. This is their response to the actual facts coming out and shredding their propaganda:

https://www.dhs.gov/news/2019/01/07/mythfact-known-and-suspected-terroristsspecial-interest-aliens

The threat is real. The number of terror-watchlisted individuals encountered at our Southern Border has increased over the last two years. The exact number is sensitive and details about these cases are extremely sensitive. But I am sure all Americans would agree that even one terrorist reaching our borders is one too many.

All Americans SHOULD agree that even one lie about security concerns by the Trump admin is one too many.

Unfortunately, there are deplorables who don't care about the lying.

But most Americans do.

And it's so pathetic to try this BS now: "the exact number is sensitive..."

Found this DHS release thanks to tweets from Molly O'Toole of the LA Times.

1. Since when is 6 hard to keep track of?

I can do it on two hands. Maybe tRump's hands are too small for him to count up to 6 with those little stubby fingers.

Nicole Wallace on MSNBC today said that the real number of legitimate terrorists is 6 (really). She laughed over this for a long time during her show this afternoon.

The Sept. 11 suspects all entered the US - repeatedly - by air, with passports, and on tourism and education visas...

Thinking that any actually dangerous terror suspect who was a foreign national (as opposed to Americans or lawful residents radicalized here in the US) would attempt to enter the US overland from Mexico makes about as much sense as suggesting the same individual would try swimming to the US from the eastern hemisphere.

If the Trump Administration wants to reduce the number of asylum seekers applying for refuge in the US, than go to Congress and change our own laws and request withdrawal from the international asylum treaties. The fact they are unwilling to do so, just demonstrates what cowards Trump et al actually all ...

8. Ironically it's the same number of guns "run" in the whole Fast and Furious operation

On June 1, Dodson used $2,500 in ATF funds to purchase six AK Draco pistols from local gun dealers, and gave these to Fernandez, who reimbursed him and gave him $700 for his efforts. Two days later, according to case records, Dodson—who would later testify that in his previous experience, “if even one [gun] got away from us, nobody went home until we found it”—left on a scheduled vacation without interdicting the guns. That day, Voth wrote to remind him that money collected as evidence needed to be vouchered within five days. Dodson e-mailed back, his sarcasm fully restored: “Do the orders define a ‘day’? Is it; a calendar day? A business day or work day….? An Earth day (because a day on Venus takes 243 Earth days which would mean that I have plenty of time)?”

Or put the entire operation at risk by showing up at a official border crossings and applying for asylum?

Didn't think of that did you? They'll never see them coming I tell ya.

and just as BS.

"... even one terrorist reaching our borders is one too many."
HELLO? *reaching* our borders? If that is the target, we don't need a damn border wall, we need stuff OUTSIDE and BEFORE the border. In fact, if that is the standard, we need absolutely nothing ON or INSIDE the border because we're gonna stop all those terrorists before they even get there. The wall is a total waste of resources and a distraction if this is your standard. Get your f--king argument right, morons!

Look at the numbers of domestic terrorism that have taken place regularly over the past several years. What have the reThugs done about that? It should be a major media talking point with every story about a wall.

Being caught in outright lies makes most people uncomfortable. Having to defend misplaced priorities also does. Having zero credibility should also.

Don’t worry Kirstjen. Children dying in your custody doesn’t bother you. You’ll get over this.

These numbers should be demanded before she appears before the house. She can give the numbers in closed session and we can just be told she is a liar.
