Trump Reportedly Keeps Calling His National Security Advisor John Bolton 'Mike'

From Mediaite this morning:

https://www.mediaite.com/online/trump-reportedly-keeps-calling-his-national-security-advisor-john-bolton-mike/

A fresh New York Times report details the incoherent statements from President Donald Trump and his National Security Adviser John Bolton on plans to withdraw U.S. troops from Syria — and contains an interesting detail buried in the kicker.

Trump, who is apparently not very close to John Bolton, has repeatedly referred to him as “Mike Bolton” when speaking to aides.

-snip-

Trump referring to John R. Bolton as Mike has been posted about here before. Back in October, BeckyDem posted this thread

https://upload.democraticunderground.com/100211311925

about a PoliticusUSA article

https://www.politicususa.com/2018/10/23/rapidly-declining-trump-claims-he-sent-singer-michael-bolton-to-russia.html

about Trump telling reporters he'd sent "Mike Bolton" to Russia.

Video with this tweet from a PoliticsUSA reporter:

It's apparent from the video that Trump isn't trying to make a joke and isn't aware he has John Bolton's name wrong.

That was bad enough.

But this is the first I've heard that Trump is calling him "Mike" repeatedly, to aides.

At least Michael has shown some decent self-deprecating humor as of late.

He used to host the Three Stooges show on Channel 11 in New York. There's more than three stooges in the Trump administration but the experience would still be valid!
