As soon as I heard he planned to speak, I was laughing. He will have great difficulty reading a script for eight minutes. Thus, he is very likely to go off-script.

Did you notice when he went to be seated, how he manipulated his lower lip?
When your mouth is too dry the adhesives have a problem sticking.

That is the first clue to how much crushed Adderall he snorted before the cameras role...

Like offering a Dreamer deal and other immigration reforms Dems want in exchange for his dumb wall. I am confident our side will reject anything he offers. Their best counter will be we can't trust anything the man says and the primary focus is simply reopening the government. Immigration reform is an entirely different matter that will be negotiated another time.

The time is very short. He controls everything - no audience, no reporters, the White House for a background. He will likely have a text that he reads that will try to reframe everything. The reality that nothing got worse at the border - other than humanitarian tragedies cause by him.

Not hard to tell if he will, just hard to discern "meltdown" from "baseline."
