Maggie Haberman, via "advisers inside Trump's orbit," smears lipstick all over the pig. He was calm!

FWIW - inside Trump's orbit, advisers are feeling good about how he did during the Oval Office address. The main point they have all emphasized is that Trump, who is often described in coverage as "fuming," was calm and controlled in the delivery. No prompter stumbles, etc

He is a sociopath and a sadist...what fucking empathy. He only has empathy for one person, himself and what will happen to him when the shit hits the fan and Mueller unmasks him.

now resides in subterranean territory. But I suppose he did do well for a rump. No major flubs, he read all the words. He attempted to display empathy. Didn't do anything...didn't move any needles so it was futile except fleecing some more money from dummies.

Oh and the Dem's slammed this muthafucka from all angles and America is about the STatue of Liberty not a stupid fucking wall. And I can't remember a damn thing that rump said.

Faux news at the 11th hour also was unkind in the lead in. I must say I enjoyed it! They touted Homeland security figures....and they actually rebutted them with a quote from Nancy something like those facts are false.

Maggie Haberman is on CNN (and her magnetic personality) Are you ready for the excuse?

"He really didn't want to do this speech"
"He hasn't done one of these before because he doesn't like doing it"
Translation: He fell flat.

Chris cuomo actually backed her up saying he was at the off the record lunch today and Trump is much better reading rooms like that not these kinds of speeches. Maggie agrees.

Later she said it was a "Hail Mary"
