Tennis champ Navratilova: Communist propaganda 'pales next to' Trump's 'lies'
Tennis champion Martina Navratilova on Monday said the propaganda she heard growing up in communist Czechoslovakia "pales next to" President Trump's "lies."
Navratilova, 62, who frequently criticizes the president on Twitter, wrote this week that misinformation mandated by the Soviet Union rings similar to that of the Trump administration.
“I can tell you all this for sure- whatever ridiculous propaganda we were fed in then Czechoslovakia, which was mandated by Soviet Union- pales next to the lies being told and repeated by trump and his ilk. I am not kidding…," Navratilova wrote.
“Trump truly trumps the communists. And that’s not easy,” she added.
