I'm not a fan of Jerry Jones, but keeping in mind that he bought the Cowboys in 1989 when they were a horrible team and he paid for the yacht this past year, it makes for a difficult comparison.

Ultimately, it comes down to people wanting to purchase the product that he provides. I wish that Jerry would repay at least a portion of the corporate welfare he received, particularly since the people in Arlington were forced to kick in for the new stadium instead of having a public transportation system, but there is also no denying that the new stadium has benefited the city also. Beyond that though, it is Jerry's money to spend as he wishes.

It's now worth $5 billion. So the price of the yacht comparison is kinda weird. Might make more sense to say he has a team worth $5 billion and spent $250 million for a yacht.

It doesn't make sense to compare two items of tangible value over an extended period of time because other variables have to be weighed beginning with inflation.

It is about excess and the dishonesty of the morbidly rich who claim they are being overtaxed. It is about the farce that these "job creators" will actually create jobs with their largess. It is about America's oligarchs who buy toys while 1 out of 3 Americans lives at or below the poverty line.

Jerry Jones’ new $250 million yacht is 360 feet long, includes a helipad, sauna, and has room for a 20-person crew and 14 guests.

Maybe, he'll let the arkansas rate payers, that he stole the original purchase price of the cowboys from, have a ride. Look up how this bastard got the funds in the first place..biggest ripoff of rate payers ever..
