Other Then Lawrence O'Donnell Has Anybody Else Mentioned Trump Using The Speech As A Fundraiser.....
Last night after the oval office speech - L O'D told us about the e-mails that went out before and after the speech that were intended to raise campaign money for Trump off this speech. To me that is big news because it is a visible abuse of such a solemn environment on the part of Trump. Oval Office speeches should be reserved for only the most important issues that a president is faced with.
I've listened to some of the reporting this a.m. and have yet to hear anyone else mentioned this outright conning that Trump used this oval office speech as a fundraising activity.
Am I being too critical here of Trump? Is it 'ok' for the MSM to give Trump a pass on this abuse of his position as president?
Is this another example of the MSM normalizing Trump's behavior?
Is anyone else as outraged as me about this?

Truth is, there were probably left leaning organizations that did the same thing. I get them all the time that constantly try to tie their plea to the issue of the day. There is a real possibility that no one in the White House even knew about them.
Politics has become an industry and is filled with people who are paid based upon the amount of money they can raise. Many of them have no ideology what so ever and are just in it for the money. They LOVE Citizens United.
