(82,849 posts)That's it, her career is over. Don't bother to ask how it works, it just does: Any aspiring politician who ever wore pleather is automatically and irrevocably consigned to Not A Serious Person status. Same goes for having family lore that includes Native American heritage. Not likable.
Game over, man!
There. Now nobody has to go on Fox and say these stupid things.

(935 posts)Once upon a time, the tiniest (even imagined) faux pas could end your run for president. And yes, pleather could have seriously hindered your ambitions. But now that the porn star loving bankrupt orangutan hit the scene it's all good now, right?

(34,184 posts)Looking forward to seeing and hearing more from her.
...especially how she handled McCain's question about AOC. Very even handed and thoughtful. "Don't be afraid of new ideas; defend the status quo when it deserves defending".
It's a long time to an actual primary, but I could get excited about this woman.

(6,139 posts)It was said that dems do better with the most inspiring candidate, not necessarily most qualified. She would energize the base like nobody else guaranteeing massive turnout. The female Obama. Part of the excitement is that she is relatively new to most of americans and the media loves her.

(66,467 posts)But I sure would like it if she was on it. President or Vice President, either one. But it would be nice if she were at the top of the ticket.
