Rudy Giuliani claimed he and the rest of President Donald Trump’s lawyers should be allowed to “correct” the special counsel’s report before it’s made public — and he got laughed off the internet.

The former New York City mayor argued the president’s legal team should be allowed to read the report and make any corrections they wish before Robert Mueller’s findings are released to the public, reported The Hill. “As a matter of fairness, they should show it to you — so we can correct it if they’re wrong,” Giuliani told the website. “They’re not God, after all. They could be wrong.”

Giuliani also insisted that former Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort had done nothing wrong by allegedly sharing polling data during the 2016 campaign with Ukrainian associate Konstantin Kilimnik, and he downplayed the decision by former Trump attorney Michael Cohen to testify before the House Oversight and Reform Committee.

“Big deal!” Giuliani said sarcastically.

Social media users were amazed and baffled by Giuliani’s claims.
