I still remember how creepy it made me feel. This would have been about 12 years after the assassination when I went diving into a box of old comics at a comic book convention.

It had come out just after he was killed, and had gone to press just before

DC had allegedly thought about how to recall the comic, but "decided" to let it go, passing it off as a tribute.

*(I still had it, until a few years ago, until the roof collapsed on my comics shed, and this issue, along with the majority of my collection, got mulched)

ACTION Comics #309. Feb, 1964 (on stands 26 Dec 1963). It was to late to do much about it... they had no time. Later, they stated they waned to release it as is, anyway, in tribute. RFK Jr. wrote a letter of praise to DC... I have it, but can't recall the issue #.
