I know he is a conservative, but I feel he will do right by our country and not help Trump destabilize and destroy it.

A lot of trumps appointed judges and other republican judges are ruling against trump's Presidential decisions in court.

I don't think they are all as bought and paid for. Of course, I might just be optimistic.

They've been very critical of Trump even to the detriment of their own careers. Roberts seems to be in that camp, though we won't know for sure until he rules in certain things.

For example, the Warren Court ruled against segregation in schools. It would be humiliating to know that future writers would say the Roberts Court upheld the policies of a deranged traitor.

He is interesting. I wonder if the seizures have influenced him in the way that disability challenged FDR's privilege? He saw the world differently after meeting people who shared his experience but didn't have the means to manage the long term effects if polio.
