I could call them, of course (and have on many occasions) but it's probably more effective to call a Republican on stuff like this. Whenever I do call an elected official I disagree with, I start by saying, "I'm a constituent....."

My senators are Feinstein and Harris: I've written them thanks for doing the right thing so far.

My senators and Rep are all Dems. I have called and/or emailed all + Pelosi.

My Repug Senators just respond with boilerplate. Got a stupid NRA mailing after contacting Moscow Mitch.

I told him to tell the Senator to get the government running again.
He asked if there was anything else I wanted to add, and I said, 'No, I can't say things like that over the phone.' We both laughed and he said (gritting...) 'Thank you, have a blessed day.'
