Be wary and vigilant. Deza distractions are happening from the left as well as the right

*ANYTHING* to distract from the Russian coup. They RIGGED the fucking election, and Hillary Clinton is the rightful president of the United States of America.

There. I said it.

They will lie, distract, malign, and every other thing any of us can think of as though their LIVES depended on it.

Because it *does*.

This is the biggest attack on our nation in the HISTORY of our nation because thus far, it has been successful. They twisted our right arm, and brought America to its knees. Don't think they won;t try to do the same thing on the left.

But Claude Taylor is right...we will get through this. Together.

who just think it's a joke that Russian interference had anything to do with the election, much less vote suppression or gerrymandering. It's unbelievable, really. These are just FB friends for the most part, although I do know a few people I just don't discuss it with, because of, well, various reasons that I don't want to get into here. Suffice it to say that they've all convinced themselves that if Hillary had campaigned in Appleton, Wisconsin and the like, all would have corrected itself.

"dont you know the definition of traitor?' and then I get a lecture on how since we are not at war he cant be a traitor, etc.

New language& terms need citations across a wide area of speech & writing fir acceptance . 2 other DUers posted they didn't know/recognize the term. I have no issue with the term, it's actually quite good.

Please consider posting definitions when you use them. Thanks

9. Alexander Hamilton on how republican systems are subverted.

Quoted once again on Ben Wittes's Twitter feed:

"The truth unquestionably is, that the only path to a subversion of the republican system of the Country is, by flattering the prejudices of the people, and exciting their jealousies and apprehensions, to throw affairs into confusion and bring on civil commotion. Tired at length of anarchy, or want of government, they may take shelter in the arms of monarchy for repose and security.

Those then who resist a confirmation of public order are the true Artificers of monarchy—not that this is the intention of the generality of them. Yet it would not be difficult to lay the finger upon some of their party who may justly be suspected.

When a man unprincipled in private life desperate in his fortune, bold in his temper, possessed of considerable talents, having the advantage of military habits—despotic in his ordinary demeanour—known to have scoffed in private at the principles of liberty—when such a man is seen to mount the hobby horse of popularity—to join in the cry of danger to liberty—to take every opportunity of embarrassing the General Government & bringing it under suspicion—to flatter and fall in with all the non sense of the zealots of the day—It may justly be suspected that his object is to throw things into confusion that he may “ride the storm and direct the whirlwind.”

This is exactly how our national government was delivered from the responsible, liberal progressive hands of Democrats in 2016 to those who elected Trump.
