Kasich signs pundit deal with cnn.

https://www.cnn.com/2019/01/15/media/john-kasich-cnn-contributor/index.html

(CNN)John Kasich's time as Ohio governor just came to an end. And his time as a CNN commentator just began.

On Tuesday morning CNN announced that Kasich is the newest addition to the network's stable of commentators.
He will appear as a guest across an array of CNN programs. Kasich's first appearance will be on "Cuomo Prime Time" on Tuesday night. His hiring was first reported by Axios on Tuesday morning.
Kasich's move to CNN is notable because he is one of the most prominent critics of President Trump within the Republican Party. He has declined to rule out a 2020 primary bid against Trump.

Personally, I'm glad it wasn't MSNBC.

to help us Democrats - we have so many great folks that will be entering the primary, I don't know who our eventual candidate will be but to chisel away at trumpys repugs votes by a former repug turned independent spoiler would suit me just fine.

most likely would have chosen most democrats over Trump. The exception would be the super religious that view Dems as soft on their view of reproductive rights, but who despise Trump (without Kasich, they likely stay home).

Now we'll get the benefit of another superannuated white conservative guy's opinions and viewpoints. Nobody knows what those guys are thinking or how they'd like to order things! This should be a ratings bonanza, don't you think?
