People can't help their looks, but as much money as congressmen make, she could afford to have a decent quality wig and clothes, so I see it as a little different than if someone said she was ugly or fat.

Are you saying it is wrong to ridicule "fat or ugly" people, but ok to ridicule wigs, makeup, haircuts, pantsuits etc....

I don't think Ernst is undergoing chemo, but she might have other reasons for wearing a wig--alopecia, for example.

OTOH, as my co-worker proved, a good, well-chosen wig (which hers is NOT!) can look great.

As for whether anyone has that much hair: I do, and I am 68 years old. I wear my hair nearly shoulder length, but it it were short, it would be a thick cap.
