MSNBC keeps harassing Democrats about ending shutdown

This is something that has been getting my attention for some days now. On many of the shows, they talk about the suffering of the unpaid workers and then ask the Democratic congress person what more they can give to end the shutdown. I have been very proud of them so far for sticking to their guns and saying that they have passed 8 or 9 bills to open up the government. They've started asking, "Yea, but can't you just give him his $5.7 Billion to get things opened again?"
The only people responsible for the shutdown are Trump and McConnell. I have been extremely proud of Nancy Pelosi for her quiet determined efforts and the Democrats for their solidarity. But I wonder how we can get the media to get off their case and really focus and turn up the heat on Trump and McConnell.
I have emailed MSNBC and some of my favorite shows about this.
It is not a 50-50 thing. They need to turn all the energy and intelligence they are using in trying to make the Democrats cave in and focus it all on Trump and McConnell. They don't seem to be able to do that. How do we get through to them? We can't allow the GOP and Trump to get away with this.
In my opinion, the people have to create enough political pressure on the GOP to force them to split from Trump.
