Pelosi COStaff: "This morning we learned the Admin had leaked the commercial travel plans as well"

Kyle Griffin @kylegriffin1 57m57 minutes ago
Nancy Pelosi's spokesman says that Pelosi was planning to fly commercial to Afghanistan but had to cancel this morning after "the Administration had leaked the commercial travel plans as well and the State Department said it was too dangerous due to Trump revealing her trip.

Drew Hammill @Drew_Hammill 1h1 hour ago
The United States Congress is a co-equal branch of government in our system of checks and balances. The Congress has a constitutional responsibility to conduct oversight in the war zone where our men and women in uniform are risking their lives every day.

____After President Trump revoked the use of military aircraft to travel to Afghanistan, the delegation was prepared to fly commercially to proceed with this vital trip to meet with our commanders and troops on the front lines.

____In the middle of the night, State Dept's Diplomatic Security Service provided an updated threat assessment detailing that the President announcing this sensitive travel had significantly increased danger to the delegation & to troops, security, & other officials supporting trip.

____This morning, we learned that the Administration had leaked the commercial travel plans as well.

____In light of the grave threats caused by the President’s action, the delegation has decided to postpone the trip so as not to further endanger our troops and security personnel, or the other travelers on the flights.

____Whether here or abroad, the Speaker always thanks our troops, diplomats and intelligence community for their heroism & service. The Speaker commends her colleagues on the delegation, who personally & officially have dedicated their lives to protect & defend the American people.

This story even made my Samsung phone news headline this morning:

Trump Caused 'Grave Threats' to Pelosi, Troops by 'Leaking' Military and Commercial Travel Plans, Says Speaker's Office

Despite President Donald Trump canceling a prepared trip on Thursday by Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi and a congressional delegation to visit troops in Afghanistan using military aircraft, the Democratic lawmakers were still “prepared to fly commercially.”

However, the trip is now officially off.

In a fierce attack on Donald Trump, Pelosi’s deputy chief of staff, Drew Hammill, said the security of the trip has been compromised due to “grave threats caused by the President’s action.”

“In the middle of the night, the State Department’s Diplomatic Security Service provided an updated threat assessment detailing that the President announcing this sensitive travel had significantly increased the danger to the delegation and to the troops, security, and other officials supporting the trip," Hammill said in a statement. "This morning, we learned that the Administration had leaked the commercial travel plans as well."

Expect in the coming weeks and months for threats and danger to increase for the House leadership.

I fear that at some point we will start to hear of mysterious accidents occurring to Democrats unless Trump can be imprisoned soon.
