Trump spews lies and tries to bully people on Twitter. AOC defends herself, points out the absurdities of politics, of Republican ideas, and tries to educate people.

There is no two sides of a coin here.


AOC is not nasty at all on Twitter. I haven't seen her go after anyone on a personal basis. Even when she was trolling McConnell she was calling out his conspicuous absence at the Capitol. She made no references to his looks, his family, or anything personal. She mainly asked, "Where is he?"

... she doesn't lie.

Outside of that I see no other connection.

Setting aside seriousness of the the issue, the “Where’s Mitch” bit was funny. Reminded me of Where’s Waldo. Trump IMO lets his mouth run and piles on the comments that get the the most desirable audience response. I haven’t seen the same on ACO.

I also think that aspect will prove to be positive for her. Her next campaign, if she runs for the same seat, will be flooded with money. I don’t want to see things go in this direction but house members are gaining “fans” outside of their districts.

AOC is NOTHING like Trump.

And she has more than a 70 word vocabulary.

She goes on TV to draw attention to herself by complaining about other people. No different from Trump really.

A few days ago she slammed the table and screamed "I'm John McCain's daughter!" Just in case anyone forgot.

The woman doesn't have a clue she's a privileged winner of the birth lottery. She'd be an average schlep like everybody else if it weren't for daddy's fame and mommy's money.

The vast majority of people that Ocasio-Cortez gets into it with are fully capable of defending themselves, well-established personages of means and wealth. Who does McDonald have a go at? Gold Star Families. Disabled reporters. Individual private citizens who are in no way on a par with the President of the United States. One punches up, while the other punches down.

Personally, I don't watch the View, haven't since maybe the first year they were on, mostly because
I worked during the day. I can't stand Megan McCain. I'm sorry she lost her father, but she seems
to have really gone off the deep end.

The bigoted right held almost 100% mindshare of internet spin in 2016. As much as I find it distasteful for politicians to be duking it out in 280 charterers or less. That is exactly what Democrats need to start doing en masse. When they spout lies we need to burn them with snarky truth.

Ocasio-Cortez is smart, with an attractive personality. And her Twitter replies are razor sharp.
