MSNBC Donnie Deutsch said "Trump will tell his base to take to streets and start Civil War"

MSNBC Chris Matthews with Donnie Deutsch as guest just now.

Donnie said Trump will call for a Civil War if he is indicted or impeached.

Most people who remember the Civil War remember how that turned out.

What will happen is that they will pressure GOP Senators to stay firm. If there are not 67 votes in the Senate to remove Trump, he stays in, just like Bill Clinton.

Trump is probably counting on impeachment proceedings, it will relieve hims of the responsibility to provide anything to his base, and as long as he resists resigning, he will please his base, which will keep pressure on GOP Senators to vote to acquit.

Remember how impeachment turned out for the Republicon Party when they made their focus all about that.
