Ben Smith, editor in chief of Buzz Feed, is talking to Chris Hayes right now.

Buzz Feed brought the story to the SC office 24 hours ago, and they declined to comment on it at the time.

Hayes asked if the SC's reaction had something to do with "corroboration." Smith says they don't know what the concern is about.

Ben Smith says, of the SC, they'd "really like to know what he's talking about."

Getting It Wrong

A single, confident source close to John Edwards told me this morning that Edwards was "suspending his campaign," and I posted it to the blog at 11:06 this morning.

My source, and I, were wrong.
